There is an art to good cooking, and the staff at Artisan Kitchen are considered much more than employees. They are indeed Artisans. They are driven to improve their skills, learn new techniques and share them with others. They are creative and dedicated. Because of our desire to maintain a consistent quality while still allowing for creative inspiration, working here can at times be trying. One has to not just learn the recipes, but have an understanding of what makes a recipe work. Our staff has been amazingly consistent over the years. We have added several new members while losing few and we thought you might like an introduction to who you are likely to see when you come to visit. |

David Jones: I have been hands-on since day one. And yes, that includes drywalling, painting, and laying linoleum and carpeting. I've worked in restaurants beginning with my first job in high school. I continued working in restauants through college. And while I earned a degree in Political Science, there was always something more enjoyable about being in a restaurant full of grateful guests having a nice meal and a good time with friends. |

Kevin Scott: Kevin is co-owner, bookkeeper, cheesecake baker, bar cookie creator, etc. He has over 25 years experience in the restauant business, most notably as a trainer for Macaroni Grill opening new stores throughout the midwest. |
Karla Lawrence: Karla has been with us for over two years, and while we are not real big on titles, has seem to fallen into the roll of Executive Chef. Karla has a passion for food and research that keeps a constant stream of insiration and creativity flowing through the store. |
| |
Holli Worsley: Holli will hurt me if I tell you how long she has worked in restaurants. You would never guess by looking at her. She is the reason our salads are so fresh, the Greek Pasta salad always tastes the same, and the little details get covered when we are setting tables for a catering event |

Lea Green: Lea is relatively new to food service, but is a natural at everything we throw at her. She bakes consistently, is great with customer service and is willing to take on any task with a professional attitude. She is just all around indispensable. |
| |
Kristen Whelan: Kristen is a wonderfully talented cake decorator and baker. She, as well as Karla is a graduate of the WKCTC culinary program. She is also a dedicated vegetarian and natural foods enthusiast with her own organic baking mix business. |
| |
Norval White: Norval, our acting Sous Chef and just a really nice guy, has just begun the culinary program at WKCTC, exhibiting the type of dedication to learning that we love so much. |
